These beautiful hand crafted and hand painted oval dishes are created by Cape Town ceramicist Gemma Orkin. 

With decorative, hand drawn designs, these dishes are perfect for any kitchen or bathroom.  They can be used as a butter dish, soap dish or are perfect as a trinket dish for your dresser or your bedside. 

Gemma s work is inspired by the colors and magic of South African nature. She includes love, family, birds and flowers in her work.  Each piece of her stoneware is fired, hand crafted and painted by Gemma herself.  She builds her ceramic pieces up in coil. No molds or wheels are used in the process.
